Diane Bray, the founder and President of SEA Tropics, Inc., has established a wide-ranging number of contracts with manufacturers in Thailand.  A Thai agent has been secured and numerous trips are made to Asia annually to ensure that the necessary quality control processes are in place during all manufacturing.
 
The majority of the existing furniture line is handmade with the exception of a large manufacturer of outdoor furnishings.  The custom made products are in teak, or other hardwoods, with water hyacinth or other high quality fabrics.
 
All woods have been treated for infestation, certified by the Thai Government prior to departing the country and cured to prevent splitting or cracking.  Several of the manufacturers supply exclusive items to well known specialty retail stores in the United States.  Other design line products, while not sold in the U.S. have wide distribution in Europe and Asia.
 
The savings that SEA Tropics, Inc. is able to offer its customers result from working directly with its Asian manufacturers.  Prices are substantially below those through the
U.S. wholesale furniture markets.
 
SEA Tropics, Inc. has the ability to quote entire condo units for those developers that are involved in larger residential and commercial operations.  Those quotes can include any design work necessary for fabrications of window treatment along with all furnishings and fabrics for a complete turn key project.
 
Soft goods such as decorative pillows, comforters, drapery panels or placemats can be designed for retail store outlets.  Each item can be individually packaged and shipped by Federal Express.  Typical turnaround times are three to four weeks from order to delivery.
 
All fabrications are beautifully finished in Thailand to any specifications for window treatments, bed linens or upholstery.  The SEA Tropics, Inc. manufacturer has state of the art facilities and currently produces large volume orders to hotels in Japan and Europe.  The fabrics, primarily from Europe, are available in a wide range from couture silks to cotton.
